localgreens launches Monthly Wellness Series with Yoga Class — Saturday, Nov 18 to Benefit Feeding South Florida

Have you discovered localgreens yet?  The cool new concept is Delray Beach’s newest fast-casual answer to the health-minded consumer, with fresh, custom-made and nutritionally-dense dishes. True to its “live green. live well” mantra, the innovative eatery is inviting health and fitness-minded locals to participate in their new monthly series featuring instructive workshops led by area wellness experts and become part of a community of like-minded individuals.  Kicking off the series is a 60-minute meditation-based yoga class, on Saturday, November 18 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., taught by local instructor Claire Schitea, of Bamboo Garden Yoga and PurLife Fitness Center in Delray.  Following the workshop, explore and gather a variety of information from local health and wellness professionals in the restaurant space from 10:30 – 11 a.m.

The workshop series is just a mere $5 donation, of which 100% goes to benefit Feeding South Florida.  The donation price also includes complimentary snacks, bottled water, and a localgreens signature housemade popsicle, sure to please kids of all ages.

Space is limited, so advance RSVP is required. RSVP directly to events@thegabgroup.com to confirm attendance. Remember to bring your own Yoga mat and towel!

The Wellness Workshop Series Yoga Class by Claire Schitea takes place Saturday, November 18 from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at localgreens, located in Delray Place, 1841 South Federal Highway (SEC of Linton, near Harvest Seasonal Grill) in Delray Beach, FL.
